Medical Services Assistant

• Collaborate with the campus treatment team, multi-disciplinary departments and community partners.
• Assist with psychiatric provider schedules by rooming patients for clinic and telehealth visits, obtaining vitals and monitoring visit summaries.
• Communicate with parent/guardian regarding child injury and illness as applicable.
• Assist with pre-admission and discharge paperwork, home leave requests, vaccine schedule, provider orders, medical record requests, referrals and authorizations.
• Maintain clinic schedule, complete clinic paperwork, monitor patients in waiting area, and order clinic supplies.
• Manage lab schedule, complete lab paperwork and order lab supplies.
• Track routine medical, dental, and vision appointment needs, and contact parent/guardian regarding scheduled appointments.
• Assist with telehealth clinic by ensuring equipment is ready for use and patients are available on-site.

• Medication Manager Certification and High School Diploma. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with youth.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work with multidisciplinary team.
