Job Title:

Location:

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Call:
None
Weekend Requirement:
Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation (if scheduled)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) and/or Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) experience. The therapist will provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages in a hospital-based setting.
Candidates may float across multiple campuses including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Cross-training on the General Pediatric floor will be provided to assist when needed.

Equipment Experience Required/Preferred:
- HFOV (High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation) – highly preferred
- Jet Ventilator – highly preferred
- Servo U Ventilator – highly preferred
Drips:
- Power injection contrast injections
Scrubs:
Gunpowder Gray
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy care in PICU and NICU settings
- Manage ventilators including HFOV, Jet, and Servo U
- Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory support
- Document care in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Float across campuses as needed
- Assist on general Pediatric floor when required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 36 months of respiratory care experience in hospital or medical center setting
- Minimum 24 months of current RRT or CRT experience reflected in work history
- PICU and/or NICU experience required
- Active Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License (in hand at submission)
- NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) credential required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- PALS or NRP certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
