Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Healthcare)
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
- Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
- Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
- Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation
- Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Ability to complete job‑related training and certifications
- No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

Available shifts include Day shift (7am-3pm), Evening shift (3pm-11pm) and
* Asleep OVN shift (11pm-7am). Work occurs in residential homes and community‑based settings.
- Hourly pay range $15-$17 per hour based on education and experience
- Shift differentials may apply based on schedule and coverage needs
- * Asleep OVN shifts are paid at a lower wage during Asleep hours
