Shift :
Days / 6:30a-5p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, M-F Length : 13 Weeks With rotating day off;
Call - up to 2 overnight/week and 4 weekends per 13 week contract Requirements

:

IA/Compact License 2+ years of current/recent operating room experience Strong & proficient experience in:
Cardiac, vascular, thoracic experience Circulating / operating room experience Basic General Surgery circulating experience Scrub experience needed including open heart scrubbing experience EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years BLS AHA Experience in the following cases: (da Vinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, Neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) preferred Trauma Level I experience highly preferred Trauma level II experience highly preferred Scrub or Circulate - both would be preferred Other Details:

EMR: EPIC No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within previous 2 years Avg. caseload – Average 35-50 cases per day.

Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes Special equipment – 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma.

We don’t do many ortho joints How many suites – 16 OR’s.

Run from 12-14 routinely.

As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas Service lines
- Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants.

We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures Local Radius rule: 50 miles Patient Ratios: 1:1 Bed Size: 16
