Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details:
• Work in medical surgical unit specializing in pulmonary and med surg patient care
• 23-bed unit capacity with Heparin drip management
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• 24 months of Med Surg experience required
• Pulmonary patient care experience required
• Experience caring for pulmonary/ventilated patients on bi-pap and trach care highly preferred
• Charge experience required
• Will accept first time travelers if 2 year Med Surg experience requirement is met
• May care for COVID patients
• BLS certification required (AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross)
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
• Skills checklist specific to medical surgical discipline required
• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
