Director of Food & Beverage Design-Forward Lifestyle Hotel | Growing Midwestern City This is an opportunity to lead the complete F&B experience at a 145-room boutique hotel housed in a beautifully restored historic building. The property combines distinctive design, independent character, and the support of a respected lifestyle hotel company with several Michelin Key properties.

F&B is the heartbeat of the hotel. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Director will shape the restaurant and bar experience, banquets and catering, in-room dining, and the wine, spirits, and cocktail program. The role offers meaningful influence over the product, service culture, operating systems, financial performance, and development of the leadership team.

The senior F&B team is being rebuilt, creating a genuine opportunity to establish standards, develop talent, and build a close partnership with culinary leadership. This role is well suited to someone who wants greater ownership, direct access to hotel and corporate leaders, and a visible platform for continued growth toward GM, corporate, or VP-level responsibility.

The ideal candidate brings:

Leadership experience in an elevated, modern restaurant, bar, lifestyle hotel, luxury property, resort, or sophisticated multi-outlet operation

Credibility across restaurant service, banquets, catering, weddings, and private eventsA well-rounded passion for beverage, including wine, spirits, and craft cocktails

The judgment to recognize what separates a good F&B program from a great one Financial command of budgeting, forecasting, labor, product costs, inventory, and profitability

Experience hiring, developing, and holding managers accountableA collaborative approach with chefs, sales leaders, hotel executives, and corporate partners

Executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute broadly as a senior property leader

Current compensation is up to $105,000 base plus an Executive Committee incentive of up to 20%, with potential relocation assistance. The location offers a lively downtown, growing culinary and cultural scene, manageable commutes, and a cost of living that gives the compensation considerably greater purchasing power than in major coastal markets.
