The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition efforts for Orchard Place. This position partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and attract high-quality candidates who align with the organization’s mission and values. The Recruiter will focus on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates while promoting Orchard Place as an employer of choice within the community.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions including clinical, administrative, education, and direct care roles
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring plans
- Create and post job advertisements across multiple platforms
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and community partnerships
- Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Facilitate interview panels and assist in candidate evaluation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
- Provide timely and professional communication to applicants
- Extend job offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive new-hire experience
- Ensure hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking data
- Monitor background checks, credentialing, and pre-employment requirements
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports on hiring activity
- Represent Orchard Place at career fairs, college recruitment events, and community job fairs
- Build relationships with universities, workforce organizations, and community partners
- Promote Orchard Place as an employer of choice through outreach and engagement strategies
- Support HR initiatives and special projects as assigned
- Assist with employee retention and engagement efforts
- Participate in HR team meetings and organizational committees
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of recruiting or human resources experience. Experience in healthcare, nonprofit or behavioral health recruiting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
