Manage and troubleshoot multiple applications in support of Wellmark’s systems. Provide tactical troubleshooting and resolution of system incidents and problems while collaborating with application delivery, infrastructure and other business partners. Maintain documentation and evaluate changes to determine the risk to current environments.

• 5 years of direct and applicable experience OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field of study plus 1 year of network administration, database administration management experience (ex. Angular 2 (or newer), NodeJS (or newer), Type Script, C#, .NET, Java, or analyzing data and utilizing reporting tools such as SQL, Business Objects/Power BI, etc.)
• Ability to react quickly and taking steps to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot issues
• Proven communication skills working with stakeholders within the business and/or external vendors
• Ability to continually prioritize, with assistance from leader
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable as priorities shift
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems and troubleshoot the root cause of the problem
• A self‑starter who takes prompt action to accomplish objectives

• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability or interest in mentoring/coaching others
• Experience working within an Agile team environment
• Experience partnering with global staffing vendors to deliver projects
• Experience with Power BI tenant/capacity/workspace administration, semantic modeling, DAX performance patterns, data lake, and data gateways
• Experience with SAP Business Objects administration, CMC, scheduling, universes/semantic layer
• SAS EG and SAS Scheduler

• Responsible for managing and troubleshooting multiple applications in support of Wellmark’s application systems. Provide technical guidance and coordinate system implementations and upgrades. Monitor systems availability performance and capacity and advise leadership of system health.
• Provide tactical troubleshooting and resolution of system incidents and problems while collaborating with application delivery, infrastructure and business partners.
• Respond to new release and customer inquiries and become well‑versed with common problem inquiries and be able to provide immediate solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and information security to ensure that regulatory and security requirements are maintained.
• Maintain documentation and design papers defining infrastructure, implementation, systems administration, system management, testing, problem escalation and maintenance.
• Assist in the research, evaluation, and selection of technology solutions that are compliant with Wellmark’s adopted standards allowing integration into the existing environments with minimal impact to users.
• Evaluate changes to determine the risk to current technical environment and recommend the most effective implementation strategy.
