DevOps Engineer

Aureon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer with strong, hands‑on experience in Terraform to support a major modernization effort for one of our valued clients. This opportunity is ideal for a senior-level engineer with deep knowledge of AWS, EKS, and service mesh technologies.

• Extensive experience building and maintaining Terraform configurations using Type Script (4+ years)

• Significant background designing and supporting AWS environments, with an emphasis on Amazon EKS (8+ years)
• Broad experience across AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, Cognito, and NLB (8+ years)
• Solid familiarity with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework (4+ years)

• Proven ability to architect, deploy, and manage Istio or comparable service mesh solutions within EKS environments (4+ years)

• Experience working with Docker and microservices‑based architectures (6+ years)
• Skilled in creating and managing Helm charts for application packaging and deployments (6+ years)

• Strong proficiency in Type Script and Python (6+ years)
• Extensive background building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub, and Git Hub Actions (8+ years)
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL/TLS (8+ years)
• Experience implementing and maintaining security best practices in AWS environments (6+ years)
• Background with configuration management and orchestration platforms (8+ years)

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, etc.) are highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Experience contributing within Agile delivery teams
• Prior experience supporting large‑scale or complex technical initiatives
