Desktop Support Technician II
Location: This role is fully onsite in Des Moines, IA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 an hour plus full benefits

About the role
This is an onsite full-time opportunity with a Fortune 500 company. As a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician, you will provide quality day-to-day Level II hands-on and remote end-user support with high customer satisfaction and technical expertise. You will troubleshoot complex end-user hardware, software, application, mobile device, and peripheral problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for end-user hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Respond to requests and issues, including installing, monitoring, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and software for optimal workstation performance.
- Execute the new hires and leavers process including deployment, equipment returns, and replacements
- Update the asset information in the ITSM or ITAM record and prepare devices for disposal

- Minimum 4-year experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills and white glove service experience
- Experience in troubleshooting issues in M365 office applications and MS Teams
- Experience in a ticketing system, preferably Service Desk plus
