We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master and Technical Project Manager to support our client's Data Analytics team within Finance. You will partner with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to drive Agile excellence, operational rigor, and delivery transparency. Our ideal candidate brings deep Agile expertise, advanced Jira administration skills, and experience supporting technical teams. Experience working with Finance organizations is a plus.

Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive the team toward high performance, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
- Administer Jira projects, including workflow configuration, board setup, dashboards, reporting, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members on backlog refinement, story writing, estimation, and prioritization aligned to business objectives.
- Refine prioritization frameworks to ensure focus on highest-value initiatives.
- Track and communicate Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team health to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Build leadership dashboards and reporting, including Monthly Business Review materials.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Promote transparency through clear documentation and reporting via Jira and Confluence.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication, accountability, and constructive feedback.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years in Agile project leadership roles within data, analytics, or engineering environments with an ability to balance structure with flexibility.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager supporting engineering, data, or other technical teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Jira including workflow configuration, project setup, dashboards, and reporting.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Detail orientation with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Comfortable coaching teams, managing dependencies, and driving accountability.
- Experience supporting Finance organizations (preferred).
