What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Systems Solutions Reporting Team, supporting enterprise finance reporting and analytics as part of PFG’s Finance Journey transformation. This role plays a key part in building, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise reporting solutions. These solutions use Oracle Cloud analytics and reporting tools, and they meet both internal management and external reporting requirements.
In addition, this role will help drive automation and augmentation of finance reporting processes using AI‑enabled capabilities while maintaining audit‑ability and governance.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of accounting knowledge, reporting expertise, and technical aptitude, partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into user‑friendly dashboards and reports that support decision‑making and financial insights.
Key AccountabilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and support reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Cloud reporting tools, including Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), BI Publisher (BIP), Management Reporting (OMR), Narrative Reporting (ONR), and Smart View (SV).
Serve as a key contributor on the Business Systems Solutions Reporting Team, supporting Finance Journey initiatives related to ERP/EPM conversion, reporting modernization, and chart of accounts transformation.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial and operational requirements into standardized, governed, and scalable reporting solutions.
Collaborate with data, metadata, and validation teams to ensure report accuracy, consistency, data integrity and alignment with enterprise definitions and governance frameworks.
Maintain, enhance, and provide production support for reporting solutions, including troubleshooting issues, supporting system releases, and balancing day‑to‑day support with project‑based work.
Drive reporting standardization, documentation, automation, and end‑user enablement to reduce manual processes, support audit and compliance needs, and expand self‑service reporting capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in report development, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud reporting and analytics tools (including Smart View).
- Strong understanding of financial and operational data structures.
- Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner across Finance and Technology teams.
- Experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP and/or EPM environments.
- Prior involvement in Finance transformations or large‑scale enterprise system implementations.
- Experience working with metadata, semantic models, subject areas, or data governance frameworks.
- Background in financial, management, or statutory reporting.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory financial data structures.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting modernization or cloud‑based initiatives.
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
SalaryRange (Non‑Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$89,300 - $120,650 / year
Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short‑term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
