Senior Engineer - Agentic AI Platforms

We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization in the Midwest that is investing heavily in next-generation AI capabilities and cloud engineering initiatives. They are seeking a Senior Engineer who is passionate about building scalable AI-driven solutions, modern cloud platforms, and intelligent automation capabilities that can impact the future of enterprise technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and enhance enterprise AI capabilities and intelligent agent-based solutions

• Develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and AWS cloud technologies

• Build and optimize AI-powered workflows leveraging LLMs, vector search, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks

• Create reusable foundational services and shared AI capabilities for engineering teams across the organization

• Collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver innovative technical solutions

• Develop AI-driven user experiences and real-time workflow integrations

• Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and platform modernization efforts

• Help drive AI governance, observability, security, and responsible AI practices

• Mentor engineers and contribute to a highly collaborative engineering culture

What We're Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and AWS in enterprise environments

• Interest and practical exposure to AI technologies, LLMs, and autonomous agent frameworks

• Experience building scalable distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications

• Familiarity with AI tooling and frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Llama Index, Auto Gen, or similar technologies is highly preferred

• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and AI evaluation workflows

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams

• Someone who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and staying current on emerging AI technologies
