Responsibilities
- Develop and implement computer vision models using PyTorch and Tensor Flow.
- Collaborate with various teams to support the doubled haploid biotechnology group.
- Design and deliver deep learning-based models for microscopy and macroscopic assays.
- Ensure models meet measurable accuracy, robustness, and throughput standards.
- Build and maintain production-ready pipelines in Python for data ingest, preprocessing, augmentation, inference, and batch processing.
- Integrate pipelines with Git Lab repositories and experiment tracking systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback.
- 2-6 years of experience in computer vision development using PyTorch or Tensor Flow.
- Strong foundational skills in computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python for building production-ready pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to independently push projects forward.
- Experience with hyperspectral cameras.
- Familiarity with Vision Transformers (ViT) and modern YOLO workflows.
- Experience optimizing inference with tools like torch.compile and mixed precision.
- Ability to scale batch workflows.
- Domain familiarity with biotechnology breeding workflows.
