Network Automation Engineer
We’re looking for a strong Network Automation Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting enterprise environments. If you thrive in automation, enjoy working across multi-vendor networks, and can hit the ground running—this opportunity is for you!
Pay Rate: $60–85/hr on Akkodis W2 without sponsorship (open to go hire for the right candidate)
What You’ll Be Doing- Designing and implementing network automation solutions
- Developing automation workflows using Python and Ansible
- Working across complex, multi-vendor routing & switching environments
- Leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders in a delivery-focused model
- 5+ years of relevant experience in network automation
- Strong expertise in Python & Ansible
- Solid networking fundamentals (routing/switching across multi-vendor environments)
- Experience with Git, REST APIs, YAML/JSON, and IaC concepts
- Excellent communication skills for client‑facing interactions
- Ability to operate independently and contribute immediately
- Itential experience
- Familiarity with Nautobot (especially pulling device data)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- AWS / cloud knowledge
- Consulting background
A self‑sufficient, proactive engineer who can integrate into an established delivery model and drive results with minimal ramp‑up time.
