Job Overview :

We are seeking a Solution Lead with deep SNAP eligibility system experience and strong integration expertise to support a large-scale eligibility modernization initiative. This role will serve as the on‑site coordinator between State stakeholders, project leadership, and offshore development teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces and data exchanges supporting SNAP program operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of SNAP eligibility processes, system integrations, and Java‑based interface development. The role will focus on requirements clarification, solution oversight, quality review, and coordination of offshore development activities while maintaining the ability to contribute technically when needed.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary on‑site lead for SNAP‑related interfaces, integrations, and data exchange activities
• Coordinate requirements and technical discussions between State stakeholders and offshore development teams
• Review and validate technical designs, interface specifications, and development deliverables
• Support the design and implementation of Java‑based interfaces and data exchange processes
• Analyze inbound and outbound data exchanges supporting eligibility determination, benefit issuance, and external system integrations
• Assist with troubleshooting interface issues, data discrepancies, and production support activities
• Participate in requirements workshops, design sessions, testing efforts, and defect resolution activities
• Ensure integration solutions align with business requirements, technical standards, and operational needs
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve development productivity, documentation, and solution quality
• Provide ongoing guidance to offshore development resources throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of overall experience; should have experience supporting SNAP eligibility systems, Integrated Eligibility systems, or public sector eligibility modernization initiatives
• Strong understanding of SNAP eligibility operations, benefit issuance processes, and related business workflows
• Experience designing, developing, or supporting system interfaces and data exchanges
