Then ARAG is the place for you! We’re hiring a Senior UX Analyst to join a Scrum team to lead discovery efforts, influence design direction, and deliver insights that will help shape the future of ARAG’s products and user experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide thought‑leadership on the vision, strategy, and execution of the ARAG’s user experience across multiple products
- Maintain a deep understanding of ARAG’s business function’s audiences, processes, systems and tools to provide relevant internal and external user experience recommendations
- Identify user experience pain points and opportunities using techniques including, but not limited to stakeholder interviews, surveys, workflow/process analysis, competitive analysis, internal analytics, usability testing, etc.
- Create documentation to illustrate information architecture, user task flows, technical dependencies, etc.
- Synthesize user experience research and deliver recommendations to Product Owner, Stakeholders and Scrum Teams
- Utilize design system to create user experience mockups
- Along with Product Owner, serve as liaison between business and development team to ensure high‑level business and user requirements are translated into functional technical requirements and user stories
- Coordinate with business, marketing and legal teams to define content requirements
- Work with Product Owner and business to establish UX success metrics
- Offer guidance to UX team members on user experience research and design best practices, ensuring efforts align with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
- Coach UX team members through the creation of innovative and impactful user experience solutions, keeping dependencies, integrations, scope and value‑based prioritization top of mind
- Assist in the development and management of team objectives, plans, priorities and budget
- Keep pulse on digital trends and technology and proactively bring opportunities to the organization for consideration
- Serve as a change agent to drive organizational transformation and innovation
- Serve as a cultural steward and positive role model by representing ARAG at Its Best
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge
- Experience mentoring and developing others
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies and technologies
- Proficiency in user‑centered design and usability testing practices
- Experience with UX design tools (i.e. Figma, Miro)
- Knowledge of agile development methodology and project management tools
- Understanding of internal and external digital asset capabilities and data structures
- Familiarity with digital design principals, performance guidelines, accessibility standards and analytics
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
Skills
- Ability to deliver a UX vision that encompasses both customer and business needs
- Ability to hold accountable dynamic team members with varying skill levels without direct management responsibilities
- Ability to dive deep, uncover insights, and clearly communicate the "why" behind decisions
- Ability to think beyond "what is" and ask "what could be?"
- Ability to take initiative and advocate for purposeful change and constant improvement that sets ARAG apart from the rest
