Marketing Specialist (Digital)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Digital Marketing Specialist supports Broadlawns Medical Center’s digital communications and marketing efforts through management of the organization’s website and intranet. This role is responsible for updating and maintaining digital content, supporting online campaigns, improving user experience, and helping ensure patients, employees, and community members can easily access important information. While this is not a people leader role, this position requires the ability to influence leaders and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience managing website content within content management systems such as Word Press, Drupal, or SharePoint. This position requires someone who is organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple digital projects in a fast-paced environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWebsite & Digital Content Maintains and advances content on the Broadlawns public website using Word Press and Drupal.
Creates, updates, and optimizes webpages, forms, landing pages, news items, and other digital content.
Improves website organization, navigation, and overall user experience.
Ensures website content is accurate, up to date, accessible and aligned with brand standards.
Drives search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, including metadata, page titles, and content structure.
Recommends improvements to strengthen engagement and usability.
Partners with internal department to support service line marketing, events, campaigns, and organizational priorities.
Coordinates with vendors, IT, or internal teams to address website issues and updates as needed
Intranet/SharePoint Support Maintains and enhances content on intranet using SharePoint.
Creates and manages intranet news posts, pages, links, and employee resources. Guides departments with organizing and posting content within the intranet.
Improves the employee intranet experience by supporting user-friendly, intuitive navigation and content organization. Serves as a resource to internal content contributors by providing guidance, support, and recommendations.
Digital Marketing Support Advances digital marketing campaigns across web, email, and social media channels.
Coordinates digital advertising and promotional efforts, as assigned.
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on digital campaigns and website performance using analytics tools.
Advances organizational communication goals through effective digital content and messaging.
Stays informed on digital marketing trends and best practices
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or related field2 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or related work Experience working within website content management systems such as Word Press, Drupal, or similar platforms
Familiarity with SharePoint or other intranet platforms
Basic understanding of SEO and website analytics
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skillsundefinedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS4 years of experience in digital marketing, website management or related work.
Experience with website analytic reporting tools
Basic knowledge of HTML and we content formatting
