Data Modeler: Cloud Analytics & Modernization Architect

Experienced Data Modeler to support data modernization and analytics initiatives for the TMG account. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, enterprise-grade data models that enable efficient data integration, reporting, and advanced analytics across insurance domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop logical, physical, and dimensional data models aligned with enterprise data architecture standards
• Perform source system analysis, data profiling, and data mapping to support migration and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data models and technical specifications
• Define fact and dimension models supporting data warehouse and analytics use cases (OLAP)
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and modeling documentation
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and lineage requirements
• Support cloud data platform design (Snowflake/AWS/Azure) and integration patterns
• Work closely with data engineering teams to enable ETL/ELT development and data pipeline integration
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to data flow and integration design
• Provide support during UAT, production validation, and performance tuning

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in data modeling (ER, dimensional, normalized models)
• Hands-on expertise with data modeling tools (Erwin, Toad, SAP Power Designer, etc.) Experience with data warehousing concepts (OLTP/OLAP, star/snowflake schemas)
• Proficiency in SQL and database platforms (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.)
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices
