Program Manager (PM5)

Design, plan, and coordinate work teams. Provide technical support to project team members. Handle complex application features and technical designs. Design and implement components for complex application features. Manage a group of applications systems analysts. Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Generally report to a senior manager. Possess all skills of a PM4. Have experience with a specific government application.

Possess 11 or more years of experience. Recognized as top professionals and subject-matter experts in IT Professional Services. Typically hold advanced education degrees or certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Programmer, Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Project Manager Professional (PMP)). Advanced degrees and certifications may substitute for experience, at the State's discretion. Have worked on multiple critical projects. Demonstrate judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Perform a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to Director or CIO level management. Expected to have a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
