Overview
This position is responsible for project coordination, planning, and day to day administration of the Supply Chain staff responsible for receiving, distribution and overall inventory management of supplies within the organization while concurrently facilitating efficient and cost-effective operations to meet current business needs of the organization related to supply chain.

- Lead the Supply Chain team in managing the day-to-day activities to support the receiving, distribution and inventory management functions.
- Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources, and their activities.
- Provide input into hiring, appraising, developing and improving employee performance.
- Prepare and participate in the preparation of staff development plans for each staff member.
- Assess the skills and skill levels necessary to achieve Supply Chain work objectives.
- Coordinate staff orientation and on-job training for staff.
- Establish effective mechanisms of communication with Supply Chain team members and UnityPoint Health affiliate personnel to foster an environment of openness, trust, teamwork and staff development. Monitor daily activity and productivity, recommending adjustments to staff responsibilities to meet department goals.
- Provide support to Supply Chain team member on processes, ERP, and other functions of the department.
Education: Associates Degree or courses leading to a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business.
Experience:
5+ years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Control.
Proficient with business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
