Purpose

Lead inventory control operations to ensure inventory accuracy, material visibility, and effective inventory management across manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain inventory processes, reporting, and controls that support operational efficiency, customer service, and financial performance while driving continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Accuracy and Control (35%)
  • Lead inventory control processes to maintain accurate inventory records and inventory integrity across all locations.
  • Oversee inventory reconciliation activities and ensure timely resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and controls to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee physical inventories, cycle counting programs, and audit activities.
Inventory Analysis and Reporting (25%)
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain inventory performance reporting and dashboards.
  • Monitor inventory‑related key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Support operational and financial decision‑making through data analysis and reporting.
Inventory Strategy and Process Improvement (20%)
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies that support operational objectives and financial goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, inventory turns, material flow, and process efficiency.
  • Implement best practices related to inventory management, replenishment, forecasting support, and inventory controls.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.
Systems and Compliance Management (10%)
  • Ensure effective utilization and administration of inventory management and ERP systems.
  • Maintain inventory data integrity and support system enhancements and process standardization efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and audit requirements.
Team Leadership and Development (10%)
  • Lead, develop, and support inventory control personnel through coaching, training, performance management, and development planning.
  • Establish departmental goals and monitor team performance against established objectives.
  • Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision making within the team.

Additional duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals and priorities. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    Five or more years of inventory management, inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience required. Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Certification(s) and License(s): APICS/ASCM, CPIM, or related certification preferred.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, inventory management software, and reporting tools.
  • Other Requirements:
    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive operational improvements.
