Salary Range: $60,750 to $79,000

THE PURCHASING TEAMCeI’s Purchasing Team manages all equipment and material purchases for job sites and corporate expenditures, vetting vendors and maintaining relationships with both new and existing suppliers.
ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are seeking a Purchasing Agent responsible for the total procurement cycle of material, rentals, consumables, and sub‑contracts. Duties include sourcing, planning, purchasing, delivery, and return of materials to support project requirements. The candidate will develop internal customer relationships, maintain supplier relationships, and serve as an active member of the project team to influence purchasing decisions in collaboration with project engineers, foremen, and superintendents.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the full procurement cycle for project materials and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure quality items at competitive pricing.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Collaborate with project teams to determine material specifications and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and reporting.
- Education: HS or GED required;
Associate Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred. - Licensure/
Certifications:
None required. - Experience: Two to five years of electrical material procurement experience desired.
- Technical competency in construction equipment and knowledge of industry dynamics.
- Strong project management, facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Must have the right to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
Exposure to all facets of the procurement process, development of negotiation, communication, and complex problem‑solving skills, and cross‑functional relationships across the organization.
