What You''ll Do:
  • Provide high-level customer service on product supply support utilizing a “coaching culture” to an assigned area at Sales Provider level on deadlines, supply information, and product reductions.
  • Be the main contact on all supply related topics to the ISC in the assigned area.
  • Proactively communicate on supply chain topics and successfully integrate changes with field sales.
  • Evaluate each POS contact through effective questioning and problem resolution skills to effectively and efficiently resolve issues presented.
  • Promote Business Unit direction, best practices and or initiatives surrounding all aspects of Demand Plan, Supply, Invoice Integrity, Product Placement, Shipping and Returns.
  • Actively support teammates to ensure a high-level performance across the entire AgVenture team when requested.
  • Manage product allocations.
  • Guide product moves, cuts/substitutions, and winter production product allocations with the direction of the team.
  • Manage product moves at the Point-of-Sale Level, cuts/substitutions, and winter production allocations with the guidance of team.
  • Proactively suggest and manage product substitution.
  • Manage/facilitate product swaps within and between Independent Seed Companies.
  • Drive “sell the plan” strategy.
  • Drive utilization of new and winter products (monitoring and communicating reports) Order Management Utilize the appropriate systems and reports to assist ISC in locating needed products.
  • Manage in-season orders (e.g. adding products, in field transfers vs plant deliveries).
  • Manage sales orders for all product lines - analyzing orders to maximize sales.
  • Promote accurate invoices, transfer documentation and data transmissions to keep systems updated.
Product logistics & distribution
  • Be the support contact for product distribution (e.g. shipping targets, collaboration with shipping coordinators).
  • Manage special sales orders request according to business rules (e.g. probulk, multiple warehouses, direct ships).
  • Assist in demand planning.
  • Support summer package & treatment activity.
  • Review and check ISC demand plans.
  • Demonstrate implications of ISC demand plans on their product supply.
  • Support system questions.
Systems Knowledge/Support
  • Understand the Seed Ware system and assist in supporting questions from the field.
  • Work with all internal systems including SAP, Managed Supply, SharePoint, Excel, and Pivot tables.
  • Continue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies.
What You''ll Need:
  • Education
    - Bachelor’s degree in Business or Agriculture is preferred
  • Experience – 2-3 years related experience in sales, customer service and/or agriculture experience which includes leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture. Ability to learn basic product knowledge as it relates to the support of sales and customers
  • PC experience with basic skills in multiple software applications:
    Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP. Power BI experience would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and manage in a multi-task environment
  • Strong communication skills (including telephone, e-mail and presentation skills) and ability to communicate accurate information timely
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people with the ability to analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self-directed/managed work environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities as well as effectively communicate and implement change
