* Job Description:

** We’re seeking a skilled and dependable
** Maintenance Technician
** in Cedar Rapids to help operate and maintain some of the most essential environments in our portfolio. In this role, you're not just performing maintenance. You’ll handle day-to-day operations, preventative maintenance, and on-call support across a portfolio where uptime, compliance, and quality are paramount.

You will work onsite with the engineering staff (all capacities), property management and tenants to provide excellent customer service.
** Some things you can expect to do:
*** Perform routine and preventive maintenance, general repairs and housekeeping duties.
* Make adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures under the guidance of the lead/chief engineer.
* Replace lamps as required in a timely manner
* Perform plumbing repairs, door hardware maintenance and repair o Painting as directed
* Maintain and repair irrigation systems
* Police property/building grounds, public areas, parking lots, roof; remove debris on a daily basis; perform seasonal outside duties as required.
* Maintain mechanical rooms, utility rooms and vacant areas in a neat and clean condition
* Complete work orders as assigned on a daily/weekly basis o Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation
* Complete all tasks and projects assigned

* Job Requirements:

*** Must have general maintenance aptitude
* Must have High School Degree or equivalent
* Basic computer skills required
* Positive, helpful attitude at all times when interacting with building occupants Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well and efficiently on a team o Excellent customer service skills
