Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual adept at managing accounting processes and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliations.

- Conduct and coordinate financial statement audits, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance.

- Review and approve account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

- Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Monitor and improve accounting procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.

- Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with organizational goals.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.

- Generate and present financial reports to management for strategic decision-making. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles.

- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.

- Expertise in conducting financial statement audits and resolving discrepancies.

- Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Effective leadership abilities with a focus on team development.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
