Traffic Control Manager

• Handle the distribution of U-Haul equipment in the assigned market.
• Implement distribution strategies by analyzing data and creating plans that meet customer demand and future migration trends.
• Support field team members, U-Haul dealerships and customers.
• Manage a team of Reservation Manager Agents who assist customers with reservations.
• Work through reports supporting equipment distribution, inventory reporting and reservation management.
• Provide reservation management and distribution of U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage.
• Coordinate reservation and equipment placement based on customer demand and equipment productivity.
• Analyze data and formulate strategies to balance equipment within the market.
• Work with rate analysts at U-Haul corporate offices and other traffic control managers to balance inventory, increase gross revenue and manage equipment pricing.
• Hire, mentor and lead reservation managers while supporting the market distribution strategy and customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Management and team-building experience (2 years minimum)
• Customer service-oriented with an analytical mind
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency in office etiquette supporting and maintaining regional Traffic Department standards

Demonstrates strong management and team-building capabilities while effectively analyzing data to implement distribution strategies that meet customer demand. Proficient in reservation management and customer service, with a focus on mentoring and leading teams to achieve operational goals.
