The Senior Clinic Administrator provides strategic and operational leadership for the Blank Pediatric Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Developmental, and Psychology clinics, ensuring exceptional patient care, outstanding patient experience, and strong operational and financial performance. This leader partners closely with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize access, quality, workflow efficiency, and growth across multiple specialty practices. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinic operations, workforce management, budgeting, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives, the Senior Clinic Administrator fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability while driving results that support organizational goals and enhance the delivery of comprehensive specialty care services.

Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the clinic, supervising staff and coordinating patient access, scheduling, clinical support services, and diagnostic operations.
- Assign andmonitorstaff duties to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
- Standardize and improve procedures to increase efficiency and control costs.
- Ensure proper maintenance of records, files, and reportsin accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Manage facility operations, including equipment, supplies, vendor relationships, and inventory.
- Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance and development.
- Approve time records and leave,maintainpersonnel records, and oversee staff orientation and training programs.
- Foster effective communication with staff, providers, and patients; lead staff meetings and serve as liaison with organizational leadership.
- Prepare financial and operational reports, develop and manage the clinic budget, andmonitorrevenue cycle and accounts receivable.
- Oversee payroll reporting,purchasing, and vendor invoices to ensure financial accuracy and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations andmaintainpolicies that support regulatory readiness.
- Promote safety, risk management, and emergency preparedness while protecting patient and organizational information.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or health care management, or a related field; OR four (4) years of related health care experience in lieu of degree required.
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in business or health care management.
Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including process improvementrequired.
- 4+ years of clinical manage mentor equivalent healthcare management experience, including accounts receivable (billing and collections) and ICD-9/CPT codingrequired.
- Preferred: 4+yearsexperiencein personnel management, facility management,financial management, budgeting, and computer proficiency.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- IA/IL Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care within
60 daysof hire. - IA/IL Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care within
60 daysof hire.
