The Plant Sweeper/Janitor is responsible for supporting plant cleanliness, housekeeping, and basic safety-related tasks. This role is essential in helping maintain a safe and orderly work environment by consistently following safety protocols and lead by example. The position requires working on a scissor lift/JLG in dirty environments and includes regular physical labor.

• Assist with general housekeeping across the plant.
• Perform daily plant trash pickup, including walking the site.
• Using air hose to blow down all machines, ceilings, walls in the plant.
• Clean plant signage across the facility.

• Strong safety awareness and consistent use of PPE.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and dirty environments.
• Reliable and self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and inspecting equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Background and Drug Screening:
  Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment while wearing PPE.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift.

• Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
