Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.
Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.
Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.
Work with and direct the rewind assistant and other team mates to minimize job change-over and down time.
Train and direct the rewind assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
Performs standard quality assurance tests and other tests as required.
Operating the doctor winder or runs rework on assigned machine
Monitors and maintains quality by removing flagged defects and looking for unflagged defects.
While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12 hour shift
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
Frequent use of wrist and hands
Frequent stepping up and down from platforms

Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
