Entry Level Manufacturing Associate

No experience? No problem! Our manufacturing client in Des Moines is looking for entry level wire assemblers. This position is a long‑term, temp‑to‑hire job with extensive opportunities for growth.

Starting Pay: $18.26 / Hour (+ raises every 6 months)

Hours:

7:30am-4:00pm (+ optional OT upon hire‑on)

Duties:

Read and interpret shop drawings.

Cut and crimp wires using hand tools.

- Connect wires by following alphanumeric labels and color codes.

Perform quality control on completed products.

Skills for Success.

Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to sit or stand for an 8 hour shift.

Ability to perform repetitive wrist motions for an 8 hour shift.

Previous wiring or assembly experience helpful, but not required.

Key

Qualifications:

Proven job stability (1-3 years per job; no more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years).

Ability to interpret blue prints and schematics.

Strong desire to learn and grow.

Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.

Successful completion of attention to detail test.

Work with Hand Tools & measurements.
