Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup requirements;
Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies to sizes specified in engineering prints to support production schedules;
Bend and create pull-pins for the cover casting department;
Stage rebar materials on handling skids and storage racks to support ongoing production activities;
Assist rebar benders in positioning metal bars for bending operations and reposition work pieces for initial and subsequent bends
