Development Manager

• Leading fundraising strategy and implementation, including individual giving, donor stewardship, campaigns, fee for service, and special appeals.
• Research, write, and manage assigned grants, including tracking deadlines, reporting, and maintaining funder relationships.
• Coordinate and execute fundraising events, including sponsorship outreach, logistics, promotion, and volunteer coordination.
• Develop and manage marketing and communications content across platforms (email, social media, website, and print) to elevate organization’s visibility and impact.
• Maintain and grow donor database and records, ensuring accurate data and timely acknowledgements.
• Manage a portfolio of community and corporate partners, donors, and sponsors.
• Collaborate with program and operations staff to ensure communications and fundraising efforts reflect the organization’s values and activities.
• Assist with and Facilitate CYC Programming as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit communications.
• Demonstrated success in writing grants and managing grant reporting.
• Strong project management skills and experience planning events or campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for storytelling and strategy.
• Proficiency with donor databases, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, from donors and volunteers to community partners.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable with technology and office systems (e.g Google Workspace, scheduling software, spreadsheets)
• Experience working or volunteering in community-based nonprofit setting preferred.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required
• Must be a lawful citizen, national or permanent resident of the United State and/or be able to legally work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check, which includes a National Service Criminal History Records Check, Federal Background Check, state child abuse and sex offender registry check, and motor vehicle check.
• Will occasionally be required to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Program Facilitation will occur in both indoor and outdoor locations.
• Certification in Mandatory Child Abuse Reporter Training within six months.
• Teen Outreach Program Training of Facilitators within six months.
• Ability to submit paperwork and updates in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and reasonably and professionally address potential conflicts.
