Volunteer Podcast Host

Gender Freedom Society is a 100% volunteer‑run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based virtually in the United States. We are dedicated to educating and supporting the transgender community while striving to normalize transgender existence within broader society. Through educational platforms, outreach efforts, and moderated social media, we cultivate a culture where transgender rights are respected, and gender diversity is celebrated as vital to human identity.

Everyday our team of global volunteers comes together in an effort to make this world a better place for the Trans/GNC community.

Gender Freedom Society is seeking a passionate and engaging Volunteer Podcast Host. This role will help shape the voice and direction of the show, elevate trans and nonbinary perspectives, and create meaningful conversations that educate, inspire, and mobilize our community.

The Podcast Host will collaborate with the Podcast Manager and broader team to identify timely topics, interview guests, and help grow the podcast’s reach.

• Serve as the primary on‑air host for the Gender Freedom Society podcast
• Propose episode topics aligned with organizational priorities
• Conduct interviews with advocates, researchers, community members, and thought leaders
• Prepare interview questions and episode outlines
• Record episodes virtually with the help of the Podcast Producer
• Uphold the organization’s mission, values, and inclusive communication standards

• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Comfort speaking on mic and facilitating thoughtful conversations
• Alignment with Gender Freedom Society’s mission and values
• Ability to prepare for and commit to regular recording schedules
• Experience with podcasting, interviewing, broadcasting, or public speaking preferred but not required
