Bachelor's Summer Enrichment Internship - PACE

Orchard Place is looking for summer interns to provide a safe and structured program for youth with a mental health diagnosis during Summer Break. Exposure to art, science, literacy and recreation will be offered throughout the week. The youth will engage in individual and group projects to enhance social skills and maintain levels of academic achievement. The PACE Enrichment Program Staff will participate in planning, implementing and supervising age appropriate activities and projects with the youth which are aimed to develop social skills and peer relationships

The internship runs from June to end of July and works Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Pay rate is $11.00 per hour.

As an Enrichment Intern, you will:

* Provide a safe and structured enrichment program

* Collaborate with Enrichment Coordinator and other staff to support youth's opportunities for positive growth and development.

* Participate in planning, implementing and supervising age appropriate activities or projects for the program.

* Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with a human services related major. Priority given to students in their junior or senior academic year.

* Experience working with youth in areas of activities development and implementation preferred.

* Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively.

Criminal record, abuse registry and motor vehicle record checks completed.
