Role SummaryGender Freedom Society is searching for a (Volunteer) Blog Content Writer to join our social media team. The ideal applicant will collaborate with the other social media platform Volunteer Leads.
Key Responsibilities- Craft engaging, high-quality content for the Gender Freedom Society blog.
- Edit and proofread all content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with the GFS values.
- Schedule and publish posts aligned with social media postings.
- Monitor comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
- Track and report monthly on social media and content performance (growth, engagement, reach), and recommend strategy improvements based on data.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Excellent grammar and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Ability to organize information and tell a compelling story.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work.
- Help sustain a nonprofit that supports the transgender and gender-diverse community.
