We’re seeking a dedicated 1st shift Occupational Health Nurse to join our corporate team and support the health and wellbeing of our employees. No prior Occupational Health experience? No problem — we provide comprehensive training.
In this role, you’ll provide nursing assessments, intervention, and evaluation for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. You’ll manage on-going care of team members, conduct required screen/testing and provide preventative care and resource support for medical related needs.

- Maintain nursing certifications and license.
- Manage direct care of work related and non-work related injured or ill team members.
- Provide case management of Workers' Compensation claims. Provide support for Workers’ Compensation hearings as needed.
- Conduct hearing tests and manages follow-up care.
- Administer vaccination programs to include Tetanus and Hepatitis
B. - Facilitate physician job site visits and Functional Capacity Examinations.
- Responsible for timely and accurate charting of all care provided, into team member health record/file.
- Provide resource assistance in assessing reasonable accommodations.
- Conduct ergonomic job assessments within manufacturing and office environments. Provide risk analysis and offer risk reduction solutions.
- Responsible for OSHA compliance and recordkeeping within scope of responsibility.
- Maintain Health and Safety Information systems. Input health information and treatment plans into appropriate HSI Systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Current Nursing license (LPN, RN, or BSN) in the state of Iowa. Minimum of 3 years of Nursing experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as medication dosage.
COMPUTER SKILLS CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSCurrent Registered Nurse licensure in State where employed. CAOHC certification preferred (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation). CPR certification required.
WORK ENVIRONMENTProfessional Corporate Occupational Health Clinic.
HOURS FLEXIBILITYThe position provides some flexibility related to hours of work. May be occasionally asked to work additional hours or different hours to support business needs.
TRAVELMinimal travel may be requested based on sites supported and business needs.
