As a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate care to patients. Your expertise in phlebotomy, injections, port draws, and chemotherapy education will be invaluable in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced nurse practitioners and medical doctors, ensuring comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and port draws
• Educate patients and families about chemotherapy and treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC (beacon) EMR

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 months of oncology experience in a clinic/ambulatory setting
• Active Iowa or compact/multi-state RN license
• Phlebotomy and port competency experience
• EPIC (beacon) experience strongly encouraged
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Professional references and performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred
• Driver's License required
