We are seeking qualified candidates for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing role. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from Friday to Sunday, totaling 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to pediatric patients and floating to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Emergency Department (ED) patient holds as necessary.

• Willingness to float to NICU when needed

• Minimum 24 months of current PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience
• Active Iowa or Compact/Multistate nursing license
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC)

• Work history/resume must clearly show 24 months of PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience
• Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline of PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO performance evaluation within the past 24 months is preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
