Nurse - Weekday Shifts

Location: Orchard Place Residential Campus – Des Moines, Iowa

Position: Full-Time. At Orchard Place, we’re more than just a mental and behavioral health provider – we’re a sanctuary for healing, hope, and growth. We’re looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team and support children and adolescents on their journey toward wellness.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m.

- 8:00 p.m.

• LPN - $28.00 base, commensurate with experience
• ASN - $38.00 base, commensurate with experience
• BSN - $40.00 base, commensurate with experience

• Provide direct care and nursing assessments to youth in our residential program.
• Collaborate with families, providers, and a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Administer medications, manage health records, and support trauma-informed care.
• Promote a safe, healing environment focused on reducing restraints and enhancing well-being.
• Step in with calm and confidence during emergencies.

• Active Iowa RN or LPN license with pediatric or psychiatric experience preferred.
• A heart for children and a passion for trauma-informed care.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with EHR and medication administration.
• Willingness to be on-call and participate in a rotating holiday schedule.
