Provide Med Surg nursing care to patients with accuracy and safety.
Monitor patient vitals, reassess plans, and adjust care as conditions change.
Document care activities and patient outcomes in electronic health records.
Identify and escalate safety concerns and potential complications promptly.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
Engage in ongoing professional development and pursue advancement opportunities.
Meet performance targets using metrics and pipelines to track progress.
Utilize evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and care quality.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Participate in on-site shift responsibilities, time management, and accountability.
Assist in unit workflow optimization to improve efficiency and throughput.
Experience/QualificationsRegistered Nurse licensed to practice in the state, med-surg specialty preferred.
Proven med-surg nursing experience with acute patient care.
Vital signs monitoring, neurovascular checks, and escalation of concerns.
Accurate documentation in electronic health records and care plans.
Compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Collaborative care within multidisciplinary teams for treatment planning.
Evidence-based practice adoption to improve patient outcomes.
Use of performance metrics and pipelines to track progress toward targets.
Patient and family education on care plans, meds, and discharge.
Engage in continuous professional development and advance opportunities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with high visibility of work.
