Travel Nurse Source  is partnering with AMN Healthcare to locate a qualified Telemetry RN for a 13‑week assignment in Des Moines, IA. The role involves providing specialized cardiac monitoring and patient care in a facility known for advanced technology and supportive nursing teams.

You will:

• Deliver continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac assessments to patients.

• Use the electronic medical record (EMR) system to accurately document patient data and care plans.

• Respond to arrhythmia alerts and provide timely interventions according to protocol.

• Work nights, 3 days a week, 12‑hour shifts.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Required:

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
License: Current RN license from Iowa or a compact state (compact accepted).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience (2 years preferred).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) recommended.
Additional: Ability to use EMR systems; strong cardiac assessment skills.
Reference: 1 reference from entire work history.
Address: Permanent address must be over 90 miles from the facility (Trinity policy). Clinicians within 90 miles are ineligible for travel positions.
