Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring an RN Nurse Manager to join our team on the long‑term care unit. Our campus has earned a blue‑ribbon award for infection control. The relationship between our nursing staff and residents has a positive impact on their well‑being.

• Position Type: Full‑time
• Shifts: Day 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317

• Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident‑related care.
• Practice restorative nursing to provide the best care to residents.
• Manage and assign tasks to nursing staff on the unit.
• Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and take follow‑up action as necessary.
• Monitor in‑house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and discharge planning.
• Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports.
• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current IA Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in long‑term care a plus.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
