Travel Nurse Source is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Des Moines, Iowa, 50314!
Job TitleRN - Med/Surg Telemetry Resource Pool
LocationDes Moines, IA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting as part of a resource pool
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the medical record
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing environment
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms
- Flexibility to work nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
- Prior experience working in a float or resource pool capacity
- ACLS certification
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- 6-month contract assignment offering valuable experience in a dynamic Med/Surg Telemetry environment
- Opportunity to expand clinical skills across diverse patient populations as part of a resource pool team
