American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position in Des Moines, IA, requiring flexibility to float across multiple med/surg units and an active IA or compact RN license.

• Resource Pool position within a hospital setting, floating across multiple Med/Surg floors
• Float units include Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele
• May be required to float to a secondary campus approximately 9.5 miles away
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

• Active Iowa (IA) or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Must be willing and able to float to all assigned med/surg units

• Holiday coverage required on a rotating every-other basis
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• References required for consideration
