Role
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in med-surg and telemetry units, assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities- Explain procedures
- Administer medications
- Conduct assessments
- Prepare patients for diagnostics
- Document care
- Ensure safety protocols
- Advocate for patients
- Facilitate discharge planning
- Maintain infection control standards
- At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred NIHSS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
