Registered Nurse – Cardiac Medical / Telemetry

Des Moines, IA

Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiac medical/telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac medical nursing
• Ability to work night shift hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiac or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment and rhythm interpretation

• Opportunity to gain specialized cardiac nursing experience through a 6-month contract assignment
• Work with a supportive clinical team in a well-established healthcare environment
