Labor and Delivery Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients in Labor and Delivery settings during scheduled shifts. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and support throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum processes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality maternal care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs continuously and accurately.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with childbirth procedures and support patients during labor.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
• Document patient information and clinical actions in accordance with protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in delivery room as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse license.
• Proven experience in Labor and Delivery or maternity nursing.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
• Ability to work effectively during extended shifts and emergency situations.
