Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate patient care. Responsible for supporting women through childbirth and ensuring optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess expectant mothers' health status and progress throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and administer interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and contraction patterns, adjusting care accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth procedures and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions and procedures performed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive maternity care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experienced in Labor and Delivery.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring techniques.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including scheduled shifts and weekends.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
