Labor And Delivery Nurse

Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and newborns in a Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate maternity services throughout the childbirth process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and progress during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth procedures and postpartum care.
• Document all patient information accurately and promptly.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist during delivery as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Possess relevant experience in Labor and Delivery or maternity care.
• Be proficient in assessing fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.
• Maintain current BLS and AWHONN certification.
